January 2024 – The Baccile Group welcomes the fourth cohort of graduate students: Nick and Cynthiya.
June 2023 – The Baccile Group welcomes our summer interns, Dane, Taylor, and Liz. They are joining us from Pellissippi State Community College and are supported by the NSF. 
November 2022 – The Baccile Group is happy to welcome three new graduate students! Anna-Kay West comes to us from the Bailey lab (who is moving to University of Sydney next year), and two 1st year students, Grace Neelankavil and Neil Truslow. 
August 2022 – Late announcement, the Baccile Group welcomes two new undergraduate research assistants, Makayla Hedges and Hannah Dennis. We also late welcome a new graduate student, Vijani Wijayasekera. 
January 2022 – The Baccile Group is sorry to see Frank’s sabbatical end but happy to welcome two new graduate students, Tawa and Zack. 
August 2021 – The Baccile Group welcomes Briggs Marcantel and Maggie Hodge – two new undergraduate research assistants. 
June 2021 – The Baccile Group welcomes Camila Gonzalez. Camila will be the first ever summer REU student in the lab.
February 2021 – The Baccile Group welcomes Prof. Frank Rossi. Frank will be here for one year on sabbatical. 
January 2021 – The Baccile Group welcomes the first cohort of undergraduate students: Majid, Joe, Thad, and William.
December 2020 – The lab is fully equipped and operational.
October 2020 – The Baccile Group welcomes the first cohort of graduate students: Kerani, Dillon, and Nick.
August 2020 – The Baccile Research Group is officially established at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
